Heme oxygenase – 1 Expression in Liver and Colon of Rats Exposed to Oxidative stress and Dysplasia by a Carcinogen Diethylnitrosamine and the Possible Therapeutic Effects of Probiotic Versus Pyridazine Derivative and Chemotherapy

Background: Diethylnitrosamine (DENA) is dietary carcinogen. It known as cancer initiator in various organs. The present study investigated the destructive changes of DENA liver and colon possible therapeutic effects doxorubicin (DOX); pyridazine derivative (MDP) lactobacillus casei (LAB) against induced dysplasia colon.Methods: Lactobacillus were tested for their probiotic properties prepared rat administration. Sixty adult male albino rats divided into six groups. A normal control group received vehicle; was injected intraperitoneally (ip) with 55mg/kg body weight twice per week weeks. DENA+MDP MDP at a dose 10mg/kg next 4 weeks after administration; DENA+DOX DOX DENA+LAB LAB orally (1.5 x 109 CFU) DENA+MDP+DOX both aforementioned before. Sera, obtained end experiment.
